Assigned reading # 1: Size and Scale. Due on Jan 26, 2009 (in class discussion).
   
Writing assignment # 1 (100 pts): Two hypothesis of allometric scaling of basal metabolism. Due on Feb 2, 2009 (hard copies must be printed out and submitted by 3 pm; late penalties of 20 pts/h apply; -10 pts stapling penalty).
    Writing assignment # 2 (100 pts): Hormonal regulation in animals. Due on April 27, 2009 (hard copies must be printed out and submitted by 3 pm; late penalties of 20 pts/h apply; -10 pts stapling penalty).
