Economic Botany is a writing-intensive course for Biology majors.  Plants and people are inextricably connected, and yet many people are unaware of the importance of plants in their lives.  This course is meant to bring awareness to those connections by looking at Botany through the lens of human desires and behaviors.

Reminder: As a student in this course, you are obligated to read and understand the UNC Charlotte Code of Academic Integrity (http://integrity.uncc.edu) and know the penalties for violating it.  We encourage you to talk and learn together, but any work turned in or done on classroom tests should be your own and/or the source clearly indicated.
