	1-31 Jan 09  Little Ricky continued to wander around North Miami Beach. Scroll down for more detailed maps.
	1-28 Feb 2009. L.R. took a short (30 mi/48 km) road trip up to Boca Raton (shopping?), leaving HQ on 13 Feb and returning on the 17th.
	1-31 Mar 09. He has settled back into his routine, commuting between 6 hunting areas.

1 Apr - 5 May 09. We lost the signal from L.R. on 5 May. He was moving south, apparently on another exploratory mission, and got as far as Virginia Key at 17:00 and then just dropped off the map.      This one is a real mystery. When birds die--either on natural or unnatural (being shot) causes, we usually get some signals from the spot where the bird went down. In this case, we got nothing after his last programmed upload on the 5th.      This is a really frustrating loss, as I did not expect to lose this bird and we really don't have a clue as to what happened. Our standard optimistic explanation (the transmitter failed) won't cut it here, as when they do fail it's usually a somewhat prolonged process.
